Information and my opinion on clips and wings.

As far as clips go, it all boils down to opinion. right now, dcc clips are the hottest clips on the market. Their quaility spring steel material and slim design make them extremely effective. now comes the choice of height or cant adjustable. (they do not offer one with both options, yet.) the cant adjustable can reach cants of plus or minus 15 degrees. this is great for those who want that -5 degree cant like a popular heirloom makers aiwb design.
as far as the standard height adjustable clip, it is only about a .25" adjustment. not a lot to write home about. but, for some, that is enough. if you prefer a deeper carry, the deep carry clips are a nice option. Personally, i would go with a tier 1 concealment claw to go with the deep carry clip to allow the claw to go as high as possible, to match the clip position.
the only downsides to the dcc clips, (this is my opinion and the opinion of more than a few customers): if you have arthritis or dexterity issues, they can be difficult to put on/take off your belt. if you have a thick belt, you may want to go a size up. ex: 1.5" shooters belt that is over .25" thick, I recommend a 1.75" clip. if you have a 1.75" belt that is over .25", I suggest a g code or tier 1 clip. if one is not careful, one could possibly mar their belt with the "hook" that grabs onto the underside of your belt. but, that hook is nice as you can clip it to some pants, negating the need for a belt or to hide the clips behind the belt. (i do not recommend this for heavier guns.)
the pocket clip for mag carriers is much nicer than others. it does not have sharp edges that will cut your finger or tear your pocket like some clips out there. I use them on a few smaller/lighter fixed blades as well as mag carriers. I love the height/depth adjustment they offer.
I will say this, the folks at dcc are some of the nicest folks out there. their customer service is unmatched and they have tolerated my questions and comments over the years.
I'll lump the polymer clips into one section for a better comparison/contrast.
G code: I use this clip on 90% of my holsters. I suffer from arthritis and some loss of dexterity in both of my hands. they are  easy on and off and work with any of my belts and I have some pretty beasty belts. One thing i think people miss on these is the forward cant of the clip actually helps push the gun towards the body, once the belt is tightened. I have found this negates the need of a wing for my smaller guns and any sort of "wedge". i like that it is streamlined for my aegis 2 and aegis light bearing holsters.
The only downside i have heard is the polymer. I have 2 customers who said they broke them. I have tried to over flex them but have never broken one. I am a heavy user of my gear and guns. I have no "safe queens" or conversation only pieces. I have worn them in below zero weather while shovelling snow or in the august heat/humidity of florida and I've had zero issues.
Tough clip: this was the first polymer clip i went to when i moved away from garrett industries kydex clips. a well made polymer clip that works. it's not pretty or streamlined. it is overbuilt to last. Sadly, that is one of the downsides as well. for holsters like the aegis 2, they will be closer together. this may not work well with positioning for some folks. like the dcc, if you have a thicker belt, you will need to move up to the next size. other than that, these clips will last.
tier 1 clips: i was introduced to them when i bought a tier 1 holster off of a buddy. they are a bit wider, like the tough clip but the micro height/depth adjustments sold me. i really like options. much like the g code, they are 1.75" which allows use with all belt sizes. the "hook" underneath the clip really grips onto the belt and is easy to put on/take off. due to their width, they may have the same issue as the tough clip on holsters like the aegis 2. however, i have a set on my aegis light bearing for my full rail emissary with x300 u and i don't have any issues. but that may be due toposition i wear it.  i have not heard any other issues about these clips. i think they are a solid option.

wings: let's start with the darkwing (standard and light). i personally really like them. I like the "step" design and found they bite into all types of material. i wear them with jeans, slacks, board shorts, etc. they really dig into the material. the only downside is it is a fixed "shoe" meaning you are stuck with a "tall" set of stairs. this may be a bit too much for some people and restrict the purchase of the grip. I found that to be true for a s&w j with boot grip. otherwise, no issues on my end.
the modwing has an answer with interchangable "shoes". it comes with a tall and a short. this allows the user to just unscrew, replace and screw back on. my only issue is  it doesn't bite well into my board shorts and can move unless i overtighten my belt. the only complaint i have received is some folks have lost the screw/nut. to resolve this issue, once the user receives the holster, i recommend throwing some locktite on the screws to prevent such. i file this issue under pre-combat inspections. just like making sure your gun is clean, lubed, loaded, mag seated, etc. check your holster in the same manner. make sure screws are tightened. the holster is in good working order, etc. gear seems to fail when one needs it the most. taking a few moments to ensure mr. murphy isn't hiding in your load out isn't a bad idea.
tier 1 concealment claw: I am still pretty new to this claw. i was seeking out a taller wing for my aegis r 2.0 and stumbled onto them. so far they are very effective. i like the fact you can remove spacers, so it is much like the modwing. you can also adjust the height and depth to suit the clip height. the only downside i forsee is the overall size. it is a bit big but such is needed to achieve the end goal of the claw.
dcc monoblock: these were exceptionally hot for quite a while. in fact, they would often go out of stock. it was nuts. but there was a reason. this is such a cool clip. it works for smaller guns like the glock 26 all the way up to a hk usp 45 tactical. it works well and distributes the weight pretty well. is it as good as two single clips? no. of course not. but, is it effective? yes. i have a few myself. a few aiwb and two for strongside carry, with a 17 degree cant. does it distribute weight like my nso (summer special style holster)? again... no. the body is narrower than 2 snap loops which are spaced out. a few customers have commented they carry it behind their belt or without a belt altogether for their lighter guns. I personally haven't tried it but I believe it is possible. I am glad dcc finally made one for 1.75" belts as I disappointed quite a few customers when i told them they could only get one in 1.5".
I hope this has helped in some way. i get a lot of questions about clips and wings. some who have experience with these things may disagree with me and that's fine. this is my opinion based on personal experience, customer feedback and folks i've talked to. please know i would never carry a product that isn't proven. some things though, i will not carry nor special order. i believe my reasons are valid due to feedback i have received from customers. but please know, i use an industry standard hole spacing for all of my clips. that way, if a customer wants to use a different clip, they can.

cheers!
